Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to support our client’s Client Excellence team who delivers AI-based optimization solutions working from the US Time Zone (16:00-01:00 TR Time Zone) three days per week. 

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will take an active role in client-facing analytics projects, lead implementation efforts, and contribute to the design and improvement of algorithm-driven products. You will work closely with project, product, and client excellence teams to deliver data-driven solutions that create measurable business impact.

Tech stack; Pyspark, Databricks, Python, and so on..

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data for patterns
• Implement and improve existing models for data driven products
• Create client ready slides
• Find efficient ways to solve problems
• Learn and share knowledge among your team mates
• Be productive and drive others to new heights
• Guide the junior project members during implementation
• Detect any pain points and generate insights on the KPIs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
• BSc or MSc in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Good communication/presentation skills, both oral and written, Fluent in English
• Strong background in Mathematical Modeling, Operations Research, Statistical approaches
• Experience with statistical packages such as Python, R, GAMS and SQL is a big plus
• Experience with optimization packages is a big plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PySpark, Airflow, Tableau
• Experience with software implementations
• Experience mentoring or leading small technical teams (2–3 people)
